Assistant Sales Manager – United Arab Emirates

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Assistant Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Sales Director by managing day-to-day sales operations, driving pipeline development, and ensuring our team achieves ambitious sales goals. You will be responsible for tasks including conducting weekly opportunity reviews, analyzing sales metrics, and coaching the inside sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly opportunity reviews, analyzing each sales opportunity in different stages and developing strategies to progress them towards closure.
  • Manage and track the sales pipeline, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring a healthy balance across various stages.
  • Utilize Salesforce reports and dashboards to monitor key sales metrics, identify trends, and generate insights to improve sales performance.
  • Work collaboratively with the inside sales team to ensure they are effectively generating qualified leads and setting appointments for the field sales reps.
  • Review and refine sales presentations created by the field sales team, ensuring they are clear, concise, and compelling.
  • Assist the Sales Director with various sales-related tasks as needed.
  • Oversee marketing activities related to sales goals, ensuring alignment and effectiveness.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s in business administration (MBA) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the software industry.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and exceeding quotas.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Salesforce for sales opportunity management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively deliver sales presentations and coach others.
  • Experience in team management and motivating a team to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in the sales of modeling or simulation software is a plus.
