Job Summary:
We are looking for an IT Engineer with at least 4 years of experience to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT support, system administration, and troubleshooting. This role involves supporting infrastructure, assisting end-users, and ensuring the seamless operation of our technology systems, particularly focusing on Ansys software installation and licensing.
The role will be based in EGYPT with branch offices in Dubai, KSA, and Bulgaria (which will be on remote support basis). The role will also be customer facing with a focus on Ansys products and might require customer onsite visits in the event customers require so.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for team, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Administer and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
- Supporting team with procurement of IT hardware and coordinating with suppliers.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and availability.
- Manage and support Ansys software installations and licensing for our customers. (Training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills)
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical field. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in customer support for IT applications or relevant software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide effective customer service and technical support.
- Solid understanding of IT support principles, system administration, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and applications on Windows platform.
- Comprehensive knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including Telnet, TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, and firewall configurations.
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and MCSA, are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
