Senior Application Engineer – Ansys Polyflow Specialist
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer with specialized expertise in ANSYS Polyflow, visco-elastic models, and rheology to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in fluid dynamics simulations, with a particular focus on the challenges associated with visco-elastic materials and their applications in industry.
EXPERTISE REQUIREMENT:
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS Polyflow, focusing on visco-elastic models, rheology, and their applications in thermoforming, extrusion, and stamping processes.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing complex simulation projects, including expertise in the simulation of manufacturing processes such as thermoforming, extrusion, and stamping.
- Familiarity with the practical applications of visco-elasticity in materials science, and the ability to translate these concepts into effective simulation strategies for manufacturing applications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Support, Presale and execution of simulation projects using ANSYS Polyflow, with a focus on visco-elastic materials.
- Provide expert advice and support on the use of visco-elastic models and rheology in simulation projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in simulation technologies and methodologies, particularly related to visco-elasticity and rheology.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and team members on ANSYS Polyflow and related topics.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex simulation challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-experts.
