Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, cash flow management, budgeting, tax compliance, and overall financial strategy. This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize financial processes, manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax laws in the Middle East. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring the accounting team, improving financial reporting, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all financial activities, ensuring effective management of cash flow, financial planning, and operational expenses to maintain financial stability.
- Develop and implement financial models to analyze business performance, forecast future financial outcomes, and support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring timely collections and payments while maintaining strong financial discipline.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax laws, and financial regulations in the Middle East, including timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, optimizing financial processes, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and fostering a high-performance finance function.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and providing actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
- Work closely with auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners to ensure compliance, transparency, and efficient financial operations.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize operational expenses and improve profitability.
- Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure financial security and compliance with regional laws.
- Oversee payroll processing and related financial activities, ensuring compliance with labor laws and corporate regulations.
Minimum Qualifications, Requirements, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- At least 10 years of financial management experience, ideally within the software, engineering, or technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of Middle East VAT, corporate tax laws, and financial regulations, with experience in handling tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead and manage an accounting team, ensuring high standards of financial reporting and efficiency.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a strategic mindset for business growth.
- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems.
