Technical Lead ( I ) – Ansys HFSS – United Arab Emirates

Job Summary

Technical Lead (I) is responsible for leveraging advanced-level engineering knowledge and relationships to support Enterprise and Regional accounts with significant impact on software revenue, as well as for helping customers to solve complex engineering problems using ANSYS software products. This role provides technical, pre-sales support throughout the entire sales process.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations
• Responsible for providing best in class solutions involving communication with RF and Phased Array systems and collaborate with the cross regional and cross functional teams for developing suitable solutions.
• Work in Advanced technology areas such as 5G, Millimeter wave, communications and Radar Systems and collaborate with customers to have a footprint of Ansys in customer design process.
• As a product expert with one or more Ansys electromagnetic products, interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows analyze how to address customer’s requirements using Ansys products and platform articulate Ansys value proposition
• Develop, organize, and deliver introductory technical training courses on the use of ANSYS electromagnetic simulation products
• Participate in external and internal events to further enhance Ansys solution related to RF systems
• Sustain technical proficiency through ANSYS certifications and continual pursuit of personal, technical, and professional growth
• Participate in and support internal marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement, education, and grow technical capacity
• Create and demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows, in support of the software sales process
• Create elegant and useful solutions to solve complex business problems by working across various teams and understanding the needs of our customers
• Responsible for resource planning (hiring and retaining), goal setting, defining clear outcomes with measurables, setting up milestones, annual appraisals, and career development of each team member.

Education/Experience/Skills: (Required)

• Requires a Minimum Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering RF/Electronics communication
• Required minimum 10 years of professional experience in electromagnetic simulation domain
• Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software such as HFSS, SBR+, Siwave, and EMIT or knowledge of other commercial like ADS, SystemVue, Simulink, AWR, CST, FEKO software packages
• Experience in working with RF Link Budget Analysis and related Systems
• Knowledge of 5G system, Phased Array, Digital Beamforming, Microwave components, Communication and Radar system
• Industrial experience related to radar, antenna design, millimeter wave circuits or wireless systems.
• A thorough understanding of electronics devices and/or electrical system design and simulation, preferably with industry knowledge in one or more of the following applications:
• PCB
• SI/PI applications
• RF applications
• Antennas
• EMC/EMI
• Automotive electrical systems
• RF circuit design such as filters, impedance matching networks, amplifiers and mixers
• Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English
• Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
• Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
• Ability to travel up to 25% of time
