We appreciate the opportunity to speak at the SPE Symposium in Abu Dhabi, UAE on the topic of “Helping Adoption of Non-Metallics in the Energy Sector: Challenges Linked to Sustainability” 

Companies, and especially the energy sector, are in a race to achieve net zero carbon emissions. Materials and non-metallics play a key role in this endeavor. We will show simple, practical solutions relying on reliable sources of data and tools to filter, compare, and use the data, with examples of how this is being used by companies in the energy sector. And present how success in this field also relies on the digitalization of the development process to help increase the speed of new environmentally friendly solutions’ adoption. Finally, when it comes to the development of new non-metallic materials, the focus will be on machine learning and how it can also help achieve results faster at much lower development costs.
