Eleventh Edition of the ANSYS-KAUST Workshop – Advancing CFD and HPC Skills in Saudi Arabia

The eleventh edition of the ANSYS-KAUST Workshop, held from September 16-19, 2024, brought together over 100 participants, including industry experts, academics, and engineering students, for an in-depth exploration of advanced simulation technologies. Co-organized with Fluid Codes and the KAUST Supercomputing Core Laboratory, this four-day event focused on cutting-edge applications in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and featured hands-on learning sessions.

With a curriculum covering both foundational CFD principles and advanced topics like turbulence modeling, heat transfer, and multiphase flow simulations, the workshop offered live demonstrations and practical exercises, including real-time simulations with Ansys Discovery Live. Certificates were awarded upon completion, reinforcing the workshop’s mission to enhance expertise and foster collaboration between academia and industry.
